Richard Friesner is 'the candidate of action'

Date published: 5/1/2014

Just as you cannot judge a book by its cover, neither can you judge a candidate by his yard signs. This is certainly true in the City Council election in Ward 3.

Richard Friesner may not have the most signs on display, but he is surely the better qualified and more experienced to represent the residents of Ward 3 and even the entire city.

Richard truly demonstrates his concern for his neighborhood by serving on the board of directors of the College Heights Civic Association. He has evidenced his commitment to his church by serving on the Vestry at St. George's Episcopal Church. As chairman of the Planning Commission, Richard shows his dedication to furthering the best interests for the future of our city.

These are specific examples of Richard's experience and qualifications, not generalities and platitudes we have seen from the supporters of his opponent.

I urge you to support the candidate of action and experience on May 6. Vote for Richard Friesner.
