Tyler Wright

Tyler Wright, 29, of Bowling Green died Monday, May 26, 2014, after a courageous fight with cancer.

During his illness, his friends, family and community came together as Team Tyler and battled every step of the way with him.

He had been employed for six years with Rappahannock Electric Cooperative. Tyler was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved baseball. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family at the beach.

He was a devoted son, husband and father and is survived by his wife, Jennifer L. Wright; his son, Easton Wright; his parents, Dare and Tommy Wright; his brother, Doug Cooper (Jeanie); his sister, Jessica Howard (Andy); his mother-in-law, Barbara Covington; his brother-in-law, Joshua Covington; his nieces, Kelsey and Kassidy Cooper and Allison Howard; his nephew, Kolby Cooper; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended friends and family.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 30, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Caroline County Community Service Center, 17202 Richmond Turnpike, Milford.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, in the auditorium of the community center, with burial to follow in Lakewood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, Box 920, Bowling Green, VA 22427; or to the VCU Massey Cancer Center, Box 843042, Richmond, VA 23284.
