Every time I call the city treasurer's office, no matter what time of the day or year it is, I get a busy signal.
For the few years that I have been here, I am constantly battling making personal property tax payments or contacting the treasurer's office! A simple phone call is turned into calling at least 10 times a day just to hear a busy signal.
Also, I find it ironic how we are charged a "convenience fee" for online payment when it is a greener option than wasting paper, sending a check in the mail. And twice, I have sent in checks that have been "lost in the mail."
Please do something to change this and win my vote for the next election or vote in someone who can improve the situation.
