A couple of Saturdays ago, I stopped in at local convenience store. The two clerks were sitting right outside the front doors, smoking.
I walked inside, got my coffee and headed to the front counter. The manager was working the front counter and stayed on his cellphone the whole time while checking everyone out.
Does anybody else see anything wrong with this, or is it just me?
I really don't like having to walk through all that secondhand smoke. Don't they have side doors or back doors they can go to for smoking?
Also, what's happened to customer service? No "Good morning," "How are you?"--nothing!
