She was born in Gassaway, W.Va., on Oct. 16, 1924, to Letha Mae Hawkins Perrine and Cortis Roy Perrine.

Madeline met her husband, Johnnie Bradley, in Phebous. She was a faithful pastor's wife, serving as a helpmate with her husband in the ministry at several churches in North Carolina and Virginia, until they settled at Calvary Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, N.C., in 1967.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her mother and father, Letha Mae and Cortis Perrine of West Virginia; her brother, Woodrow Perrine of Frackville, Pa.; her sisters, Geraldine Hagopian of Cooper City, Fla., and Maxine Marshall of LaPorte, Texas; and a granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Bradley of Rocky Mount.

She provided a loving Christian home to three sons and a daughter. Surviving her are Larry and Betsy Elmore Bradley of Charlotte, N.C., Stephen and Renee Bradley of Glens Falls, N.Y., David and Melanie Goff Bradley of Rocky Mount and Susan Bradley Delano and Art Delano of Nashville, N.C. She was blessed to have nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Bradley, pastoral care minister of Flint Groves Baptist Church, Gastonia, N.C., officiating. Visitation with the family will follow the service and will be held at other times at the home of Susan and Art Delano in Nashville, N.C. Interment will be private.
