Here we go again. An established military base exists in a distant rural area.
An airport is constructed nowhere near any housing. Approvals are given for subdivisions to be built nearby each. Homeowners move in to the housing tracts and are soon complaining about noise.
Legal suits follow. The local military base/airport lose and are required to tone it down a bit.
With the curtailment of services, everyone loses.
