Defeat was a sad day for Virginia politics

How sad it is for the people of the 7th District of Virginia to lose Eric Cantor, a good and gentle congressman. Our influence in the Congress is now shot.

A Virginian was on the verge of being speaker of the House of Representatives. Virginia has, since the founding of the republic, been first in many things and would have been first to send a Jew to be speaker. How proud we could have been! Now it is all gone. Sad, sad, sad.

What do we have to replace this good man? We have a Democratic nominee and a tea party nominee, aka the nominee of the brown shirts. Flip a coin, it won't matter.
