TINGRAY POINT—On calm mornings when the sun is just right, the water off this sandy spit of land at the mouth of the Rappahannock River glistens like a ghost in a sailor’s dream.
Gulls and ospreys squawk as watermen in low-slung boats check their crab pots; high overhead, puffy clouds skitter across the sky as if moved by the hand of God.
