Instructions for searching historical newspaper pages:
The search is far from perfect. Some complete editions are missing. Some editions have missing pages. And some are attached to another edition, so the only way to find them is to go the end of the edition before or after the one your looking for.
To search The Free Lance-Star archived editions go to

Type the name of the paper (Daily Star, The Free Lance, or The Free Lance-Star) you wish to search in the ‘Source’ field along with any other search parameters, such as date range or exact phrases, that you want to use to limit your search results.
