Police release sketch of suspect in attack on UMW student

Police hope someone will recognize image of suspect wanted in violent sexual attack on UMW student.

The University of Mary Washington this afternoon released a sketch of the man believed to be responsible for a sexual assault that occurred in a campus parking garage early Friday.

An FBI sketch artist did the drawing based on a description provided by the victim. The assailant is still at large. He is said to be a white male, 20 to 24 years old, with blonde hair and green eyes. He is believed to be about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with a tribal tattoo extending from beneath the shirt sleeve on his left arm. A $10,000 reward is being offered.

The victim is a sophomore who lives on campus. She did not know her attacker.
