Robbery prompts school lockdown

UPDATE (5:13 p.m.) A suspect has been taken into custody at the Dunkin Donuts on Salem Church Rd. in Spotsylvania, said Natatia Bledsoe of the Fredericksburg Police. The investigation is continuing.
Date published: 11/9/2009 For the second time in a week, area schools are on lockdown following a robbery in Fredericksburg. Police say today's incident occurred around 2:30 at Floor Shop, 2103 Jefferson Davis Highway. The suspect is described as a black male, 5'10", with a thin build. He wore a white shirt and blue scarf and was armed with a black handgun.
