Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron, a Massaponax High graduate, gets off to a great start at the Miss America competition in Las Vegas.
Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron blew the audience away last night -- as well as the judges -- with an incredibly powerful vocal performance in the first preliminary round of the Miss America Pageant.
Cameron, a Massaponax graduate, sang "Listen" from "Dreamgirls" and basically brought the house down. She also earned $2,000 in scholarship money by winning that preliminary talent round.
