Snow days result in schedule adjustments as divisions scramble to make up time.
Stafford County Public Schools have missed six days this school year.
As a result, Feb. 18, April 22 and May 27 - originally early dismissals - will now be full school days. Students are also scheduled to make up missed time on Feb. 21, which is President’s Day.
As of today, Spotsylvania children have used four of the five make-up days built into the Spotsy school division calendar. That means students in the county will be going to school this Monday as well as Feb. 11 and 21, and March 11.
Caroline County’s school system has also missed 6 days.
Students are scheduled to make up the lost time tomorrow, Feb. 21, March 18, March 21 and June 10.
School divisions in the city of Fredericksburg and King George County have not announced any makeup days.
