On September 17, 2009, Deputy W. D. Lipscomb stopped a vehicle in Ruther Glen for a traffic infraction. After investigating, Kearney A. Rash, Jr., 28, of Ruther Glen was charged with driving under the influence. He was released on a personal recognizance bond and a court date of October 30, 2009 was set. On September 18, 2009, Deputy W. D. Lipscomb stopped a vehicle in Ruther Glen for a traffic infraction. After investigating, Lamont W. Haskins, 44, of Fredericksburg was charged with driving under the influence – 2nd offense, refusing to submit to a breath test, driving on a suspended license and felony child endangerment. He was ordered held without bond and a court date of October 30, 2009 was set. On September 19, 2009, Deputy W. D. Lipscomb stopped a vehicle in Ruther Glen for a traffic infraction. After investigating, Michael E. Armstead, 46, of Ruther Glen was charged with driving under the influence, refusing to submit to a breath test and possession of marijuana. He was ordered held under a $1500 bond and a court date of October 30, 2009 was set. On September 19, 2009, Deputy C. B. Pavie stopped a moped in Woodford. After investigating, ,Billy Joel Jolin 41, of Woodford was charged with driving under the influence, refusing to submit to a breath test and possession of marijuana. He was ordered held under a $1500 bond. Caroline County Sheriff's Office Wrap Up According to Sheriff Tony Lippa, Caroline Deputies made 3 drug arrests, 6 DUI arrests, 8 domestic violence arrests, 97 other criminal arrests and issued 4 animal control summons or arrests during the past week. The deputies served 273 civil papers, issued 123 traffic summonses, handled 13 motor vehicle crashes, responded to 19 alarm calls, and dealt with 16 juvenile offenders. The Sheriff’s Office Communications Center dispatched 452 calls for service and handled 1,452 telephone inquiries. The CCSO also logged 32 calls assisting outside agencies and had 149 self-initiated calls. From recent Fredericksburg police reports: Christina Lloyd, 43, of Milford was arrested for public intoxication.
