Relax your bodyTo ease your worries, relax your body, said Dr. John McLaughlin, an interventional radiologist and co-leader of the Meditation Community of Fredericksburg. Swim, do tai chi, run, stretch -- whatever works. "It's a positive feedback loop," McLaughlin said. "The more the body can relax, the more the mind can relax." Without exercise, meditating is harder. "You can't take somebody who has incredibly high anxiety and make them sit down and not move for 20 minutes," McLaughlin said.
