Take a walkGet some fresh air and give your body a quick tune-up by going for a walk. If you don't do it today, consider going for one tomorrow. It's a great way to ease post-meal fullness and fend off the sleepiness that sometimes sets in after Thanksgiving dinner. Plus, daily walks can help you lose weight during the holidays. Several years ago, a group of us at the paper monitored our weight from late November to early January. Collectively, we gained 12.5 pounds. The only one of us who lost weight? The daily walker.
