They’re among the fastest-growing in the state, Virginia Chamber of Commerce says

Several Fredericksburg-area companies are among the 50 fastest-growing in the state.

The Virginia Chamber of Commerce announced the names of 50 of the fastest-growing Virginia companies at its 21st annual “Virginia’s Fantastic 50 Awards Banquet” on Thursday evening in Chantilly.

Patriot Group International Inc. of Warrenton came in second in the rankings. Patriot was also named one of five “Virginia Vanguard” winners as the top producer in the service industry.

Government contractor Marathon TS Inc. of Kilmarnock came in 11th place.

Stafford County’s Corps Solutions, also a government contractor, was the 13th fastest-growing company listed.

And government contractor SimVentions Inc. of Fredericksburg came in at No. 26.

“The 50 companies being recognized today are the ones who are leading that success by raising personal incomes of Virginians, attracting top talent, and making their communities better places to live and work,” said president and CEO of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce Barry DuVal.

Nominations were sought last fall from local chambers of commerce and economic development organizations. Companies were also able to nominate themselves.

To be eligible, a company must be privately held with a headquarters in Virginia, show sales between $200,000 and $200 million and demonstrate positive revenue growth in its most recent fiscal year. Companies are judged on their four-year sales revenue history.

Inheritance taxes, where they exist, apply to recipients. There are no federal inheritance tax...
