Lake Anna harmful algae bloom treatment shows promise.
Greg Baker, president of the Lake Anna Civic Association board of directors, tells the Spotsylvania County Board of Supervisors that treatment on Lake Anna eradicated harmful algae blooms at one area of the lake. He said they are seeking $1 million in state funding to help expand treatment efforts on the 13,000-acre man-made lake, which is a popular recreational spot.
